Problems Stoki One solves
How do I stop overselling?
Overselling happens when your count on one channel doesn't match what's actually left — usually because a sale happened somewhere else and that channel never heard about it. The fix is a layer that holds one true number and corrects every channel the instant a sale lands. Stoki does this automatically: you set the real number once, and a sale anywhere drops it everywhere, so no channel can sell what you no longer have.
Why does my inventory show different numbers on each platform?
Because each platform only counts its own sales. Sell the last one on your shop floor and your website still thinks it's in stock. The only way to fix it for good is a single source of truth that every channel reports into — which is exactly what Stoki holds, correcting each channel automatically as sales come in.
What actually causes overselling?
Lag. A sale on one channel takes time to reach the others, and in that gap a second customer buys something that's already gone. The more places you sell, the wider the gap. Stoki closes it by correcting every channel automatically the second a sale happens — no manual updating, no delay.
How does Stoki One handle refunds and returns?
When an order is refunded or cancelled, the stock should come back — but only when it's genuinely available to sell again. Stoki handles this automatically: a refund or cancellation returns the right number to your true count and carries that correction to every connected channel, so returns don't quietly leave you overselling or under-counting.
Products
Can I track products that don't have a barcode or SKU?
Yes. Vintage, handmade, and one-of-a-kind items rarely come with a barcode or SKU, which makes them hard to track and match across stores. Stoki gives each item its own Stoki ID — a permanent code plus a printable label — so even a barcode-less product gets a stable identity that every channel can recognise. You point your phone; Stoki does the rest.
What is a Stoki ID?
A Stoki ID is the permanent identity Stoki gives every product you import. It's a stable code — and a printable label — that stays with the item no matter where it sells, so Stoki can recognise the same product across all your channels and keep its number accurate. It's how Stoki tracks items that never had a barcode or SKU of their own.
Does Stoki One include a built-in POS?
Yes. Stoki One includes a simple built-in POS, so you can record sales wherever they happen — your shop, a market, or in person. Those sales draw down the same true number as your online channels, so your counter and your website never disagree about what's left.

Account
Is Stoki One available in Arabic?
Yes. Stoki One works fully in Arabic with complete right-to-left layout. We built for Arabic from day one, not as a translation added on top.
Can I change my currency?
Yes. You choose your currency when you set up your business, and Stoki shows your sales and totals in it. Stoki reports what each channel takes in its own currency and doesn't convert between currencies.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your data is isolated to your account with row-level security, encrypted in transit and at rest. Stoki stores no customer personal information — only the order references, products, quantities, and prices needed to keep your stock accurate. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. There are no contracts. You can disconnect a channel or close your account whenever you want, and disconnecting deletes the access tokens for that store. See our Terms and Privacy Policy for how your data is handled on disconnect.
